Meals for 10 month old??

Our son is 9 months old, very close to 10 months old to be fair… however I am struggling on what to feed him for his solid food meals. Since he turned 6 months, we’ve been feeding him the Ella’s kitchen pouches, along with the Organix tubs and things like that, as our oven broke and we were in the process of selling our house and moving. We weren’t eating very well ourselves as we weren’t bothering with fixing the oven, so we kind of lived on air fryer things and things we could cook on the hob (pasta, spaghetti, beans, stuff like that) just until we moved. We fed him the pouches and things as we thought that would be better for him than some of the things we had for dinner at the time. He has had little bits of our food sometimes, like the odd chip or things from our plate, bits of fruit, etc. so he hasn’t solely been fed on pouches.

However, now I’m not entirely sure what to feed him since we’ve moved into our new house. What kind of meals can he be having at 10 months? I’m kinda lost and don’t really know what else we can feed him, I need some ideas on meals for him throughout the day so breakfast, lunch and dinner if possible. Are there any things I can make in big batches that can be frozen or chilled? I’m lost when it comes to this kinda stuff and can’t really find much online that’s simple to make…

If you’ve moved, I’d be focusing on making 1 healthy meal you can all eat, babies can eat anything just leave salt out and add it to the adult portions. Pasta dishes, chilli, curries, stir fries, burritos, jacket pots and toppings, roast dinner, tray bakes. I’d avoid anything marketed for babies, most is ultra processed. Much better to get used to eating normal food

My DD is the same age and always has boiled egg for breakfast. I do offer her toast too but she just sucks on it.

She enjoys pasta with chicken or minced beef (bolognaise / beef ragu) with cheese. The latter is so easy: just minced beef, beef stock cube, passata and a small bit of tomato puree and then mixed herbs and done, both mine love it with grated cheese. She has enjoyed chilli too.

For tea I go for more of a snack style as she is a bit more grumpy then: just cheese, pepper sticks, cucumber (she loves cucumber.)

She doesn’t eat a lot by the way, that looks more adventurous than it is.

Snack wise she likes banana, aforementioned cucumber, peach and melon Smile

My youngest is 10 months and has;
breakfast - ready brek
lunch - scrambled egg / omelette with avacado on toast
dinner - whatever the rest of the family are having

This was really useful for me. You put their age in and it comes up with a ton of meal ideas:

Please don’t feed a 10 month baby junk like chips or melty puffs. They’ll reject healthy food if they get a taste for beige or high sugar/salt stuff
