Can I air fry frozen chicken breasts? Thought I could but nothing on packet?

I got some frozen chicken breasts from Iceland thinking I could use in air fryer for quickness to try and eat more protein but in a cheaper way. However the frozen chicken just got delivered from Iceland and says defrost then oven cook.

I am thick and clueless at cooking… I grew up with my Dad doing ready meals and my husband always cooks most things. I can do spag bols and a roast and a chilli but usually use packet mixes.

I use lots of frozen chicken breast. I get them out the night before and put them in the fridge to defrost. The next morning I'll pop some marinade on if I'm using some.

30 seconds in the microwave to defrost.

Do not air fry from frozen - air fryers cook even quicker than a normal oven so you’ll end up with dry outside, raw inside

fine to defrost then cook from defrosted though. I’d slice them up and then air fry them, dip in a bit of olive oil and seasoning and will be good
