Please can I have your budget friendly meal ideas.
Family don't like mince or lentils or things like that or meat substitutes.
Thanks

Soups, pasta bake, creamy bacon spaghetti, curry with chickpeas or chicken thighs, Chinese noodles with chicken meat from thighs etc.

How many are you feeding and what’s the available budget?

A fritatta is pretty budget friendly, pack it with veg and potato and top with cheese.
I'm not sure if 'not liking lentils and things like' that refers to beans and chickpeas but if not a bean chilli or chickpea curry are really cheap. If pulses and beans are off the list then just a vegetable chilli with Peppers, onions, tomatoes, courgette etc is economical. And there are plenty of vegetable curry options that are cheap. Cauliflower, red pepper and butternut squash is popular here.
Tuna pasta bake
Pasta arabiata
Tray baked are fairly economical, chicken thighs or sausages probably being the cheapest. Just new or sweet potatoes, whatever veg and whatever flavouring you like paprika, lemon, garlic and herbs, honey and mustard, lime, chilli and coriander etc etc
Sausage casserole
Macaroni cheese

I have a few people I follow on Instagram that do feed the family for £25 a week type things - jades bites and Cardiff mum are the ones that come to mind but there are now quite a few jumping on the trend.

Cheap meal ideas -

Jacket potatoes, sausage and mash, a whole chicken could be used for two meals such as a roast and then a Curry or stir fry. Chicken meatballs, tacos or burritos with leftover meat and salads or roast leftover veggies. Make a soup with leftovers. Meal plan so that similar ingredients are used or batch cook and save a meal for the following week.

Chicken soup - you can get a whole chicken for relatively inexpensive (if you aren't going for the nicer, higher welfare ones) and some cheap soup veg. You can easy feed people for 2-3 days on chicken soup and bread/butter.

I often make this, we have it for 2 nights for dinner, plus extras for lunches.
