Help! How do a warm a packet of wraps?

The tortilla ones.. flat in a packet that you have to peel apart..

I usually do one at a time in a hot dry pan but there must be an easier way to serve a pile of warm wraps to guests.

In the oven.

Axx · 19/04/2024 15:32

Microwave them

Elebag · 19/04/2024 15:33

20 seconds in the microwave.

Houseplanter · 19/04/2024 15:33

In a pile? Do I need to separate them first? Wrap them in anything?

Open the packet, separate them so they don’t stick together then just put them on a microwavable plate and zap them for 20 seconds. Separate them again and flip them over then another 20 seconds in the microwave. Sorted.

You could peel apart and then pile them again and then wrap them in foil and heat them in the oven

Don't open the pack but do give it a little shake then warm in microwave.
There should be instructions on the packet.

FelicityBeedle · 19/04/2024 15:54

I wrap the pile in a clean tea towel and pop in the oven

RomainesToBeSeen · 19/04/2024 16:02

You need a Tortillada! 😊

Put the wraps in it, microwave for 1-2mins depending on the number of wraps and then it keeps them warm on the table.

Whole pack. 30 secs in the microwave

Revelatio · 19/04/2024 16:13

I hate microwaved wraps, they’re so much better in a dry frying pan or just held over the gas hob. Once you’ve toasted them, then put in foil and keep warm in the oven whilst you bring all the other food to the table.

That's what I do too.

Thankyou so much!

I'm going to microwave them as suggested, and I have one of those tortilla keeping warm things in my Amazon basket! 😀
