Is my curry going to turn out badly with this product?

Im cooking a curry in a casserole dish with this steak

Last year I bought a steak in Aldi and did a slow cooked (on the hob) curry with it and it was the best thing Ive ever cooked. But I cant remember what steak it was

I found this in the freezer, been in there some time so I thought I would do the same, but it doesnt say what cut it is, not that I would necessarily know what they are and Im worried that its a steak for just eating on a plate like steak and chips and will toughen up with long slow cooking.

Have I just ruined the whole thing?

That will be absolutely fine, just fry it first to brown then just slow cook the beef until tender.

Oh brilliant, yes I seared it first and now its in the sauce, blipping away.

I don’t shop at Aldi here but I wouldn’t buy meat where they don’t tell me what it is!

FWIW, I think that’s a piece of silverside. I hope it was delish.
