lemon meringue Pie.... can I cook it today for tomorrow??? or should I wait until tomorrow??

Going to my sister for Sunday lunch, hoping to take LMP but want to get it out of the way today...
is it possible or should I do it tomorrow.

the re is always the risk of the meringues going soggy inthe firdge over night or during transportation

If you're planning to have it cold I would probably just make it today. If you want to have it hot I would make the pastry and lemon filling but keep them separate so the pastry doesn't go soggy then take it with you and put it all together and make the meringue at the last minute and cook it in her oven as it's better fresh IMO.
