Gluten free pasta- anything that isn't corn/ white rice of brown rice/lentil?

Asking for the impossible perhaps.

I've been gluten free for years and would love something that isn't made from the above.

I'm avoiding refined carbs so don't really like corn/ white rice pasta.

Brown rice pasta is okay, lentil is okay but is there anything else - buckwheat? Other similar stuff?

(I shop in Waitrose and have scoured their shelves.)

Chia spaghetti is quite nice.

There are various ones made of quinoa or mixes of grains. But, they aren't great.

There are also various spaghetti and noodles made from different types of beans (edemame spaghetti, mung bean noodles etc). These are a little better. The best one was a soy bean fettuccine but I haven't seen that in years.

Tesco have a buckwheat fusilli, but I've not seen it on the shelf for ages. Clearspring make buckwheat pasta too, Amazon sell it. We also use brown rice noodles, I bought the last ones from Lidl, but Asian supermarkets have them too.

Have to agree with the other post saying the beany pastas aren't great. We prefer the decent brand GF pasta - Barilla, Rumo etc it's better than the Tesco own brand, but they are the refined carbs which you are teying to avoid.
Maybe just have spiralized veg instead?

The half decent one was Just Taste soy bean and chickpea linguine. But, it doesn't taste like pasta, and it doesn't have the bite of pasta. It's more nutty and chewy. It does work quite well in more Asian style recipes and I would use it again in normal pasta dishes if I really couldn't eat normal (good) gluten free pasta.
