Help! Can I freeze my home made breaded chicken pieces?

I have some chicen pieces that I'm going to breadcrumb - do I then freeze them and cook them from frozen?
The chicken says it's suitable for freezing. Or do I cook and cool then freeze? Bit clueless as veggie myself and meat usually freshly cooked by DH at weekends.

Depends on the size of the chicken pieces,if small (nugget size) then personally I would breadcrumb them then freeze them (uncooked)on an open tray and then bag them up when they're frozen ,then cook from frozen .

If your talking about breast or larger size pieces I would freeze them unbreaded and defrost and breadcrumb when needed.

I make my own chicken escalopes/nuggets.

I flatten chicken breasts, egg them and breadcrumb them then I freeze them. I always then defrost them thoroughly before frying them (or I suppose you could oven cook them but I find they go a bit dry unless you at least fry them off a bit first)

I also make oven chicken or turkey mince nuggets (another mner's recipe (Enid I think!). Because those are cooked in the oven I sometimes cook them from frozen or I defrost them first if I have time. Either works, but you obviously have to cook the frozen ones for longer.

Thanks - will it be OK to follow your system Moonmother - the chicken is 'mini breast fillets'?
Do you agree with Lazycow that they would cook better if I fried them, rather than oven cooking. I am looking for ease ideally - they are for supper after DS's swim lesson.
