Any ideas please?!

4 kids, 6 adults

One pescatarian but most of the others don't eat fish. No lamb. Kids not keen on pork unless it's a sausage.

Happy to cook totally vegetarian or a mix of meat / fish / veggie.

Usual go to is various curries and dhal but we are going out for curry the night before.

Is vegetarian lasagne a really boring option for a vegetarian?

Chilli / bean chilli been done to death and I'd like something a little 'fancier'.

If it wasn't forecast to be chucking down and cold I'd do some lovely salads with grilled meat and prawns / halloumi.

Thank you!

You could do a couple of pies a chicken, bacon, and leek for the veggies and Moroccan spiced veg for the veggies. Top the meat one with puff (cut out little pastry leaves/flowers to make it look pretty and scrunched filo for the veggie one. Serve with roasted baby potatoes, tenderstem broccoli and green beans.

Mexican? So fajitas, tacos, burritos etc with lots of possibile fillings & sides?

Last year I did spring chicken pie www.sainsburysmagazine.co.uk/recipes/mains/herby-spring-chicken-pie and this version for vegetarians realfood.tesco.com/recipes/spring-greens-and-butter-bean-pot-pie.html

This year I’m doing stuffed peppers www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/bolognese-stuffed-roast-peppers and a veggie version

Go Greek, stuffed aubergines for any vegetarians, beef and tomato casserole, greek roast potatoes with lemon, and green beans. The aubergines could serve as an extra side dish to the beef,
Starters of various dips with flat bread, pudding of bought baklava or greek yoghurt with honey and raspberries.

Lasagne is more work than lots of other dishes but easy to make ahead, with a meat and a veggie/pescatarian version. Serve with salads & garlic bread so would work.

I love the pie suggestion - one meat, one veggie & lots of vegetable sides.

Another option would be a roast dinner, turkey for the meat eaters is very Easter like, and a vegetarian or salmon main for the non-meat eaters. Shared sides.

I've made shawarma with meat and vegetarian options. Make the flat bread ahead and reheat on the day.

chicken fatee is a lovely dish and easy to adapt to vegetarian or pescatarian

Paella or risotto would work too although not easy to make ahead

Veggie tagine served with roasted chicken drumsticks marinated in spices (roast separately) cous cous. Tagine reheats well, marinate chicken overnight throw in oven. Couscous is a doddle.

Roast sweet potato and goats cheese salad tossed with seeds, tomato, grated carrot cucumber, olive oil and balsamic. This is utterly lush!!!

Hummus, babaganoush and raita, a cheese and meat board then a platter of baked things to suit. Meat/veg samosa or pakora, onion bhaji etc. have a loaf of bread and butter warm from the oven OR wraps OR a garlic flatbread sliced up or an interesting couscous.

Put sweet chilli sauce on the table. Done.

Thank you all, think I'm going to go Greek!

That makes a lot of sense, easy to combine all the dietary requirements
