Gammon steak. How do you have yours?

Looking for something a bit different than the usual egg/pineapple and chips (as nice as it it). What do you do with gammon steaks? I have a few packs in the freezer.

Cook. Top with pineapple chunks, grated mozzarella and panko breadcrumbs and grill till bubbling. Yum!

Lovely with macaroni cheese and a green veg or green salad

With mash and cauliflower cheese

New potatoes, green beans and parsley sauce

Sorry I’m old school. Gammon, half a ton of chips, egg and peas. Why mess with perfection?

Top with sliced apple and crumbled Cheshire cheese.

Cheesy leaks also go well with gammon, or stick with the pineapple but make it into a salsa with fresh tomatoes, chilli, coriander and garlic.

Diced to use instead of pancetta in bolognese-ish ragu.

try it topped with rhubarb pickle and your choice of cheese

Parsley sauce, peas and pots.
