Anyone fancy a sourdough support thread?

I’m on day 5 of DoDo the starter. Shes quite time consuming! I forgot to feed her yesterday so gave her a bigger feed today (1:2:2) and she’s bubbling up nicely and looking a bit perkier. She does honk though, although I have read that can be normal?? Or I’m going to give myself sourdough poisoning.

Excited to actually make some bloody bread!

Day 5 activity!

She looks good to me, but I’m a novice too.

I plan to start again soon, having abandoned my starter last year due to stress. My stress, not the starter.

Sourdough UK on Facebook is worth joining. Friendly group with some professional bakers. They were a huge help when I started out.
