best ways to eat mussels

I've got a couple of bags of vacuum packed in garlic and shallot and white wine sauce.

I usually just have a bowl with some nice bread or with a bit of pasta. Any other ideas that are simple and healthy?

Ive only ever eaten moules with chips and or French bread, I guess mash potato or sweet potato mash would work well with soaking up the juice?

never put butter in mash if you want the potato to soak up the juice from another dish - mash with a tiny amount of olive oil instead or in the case of sweet potato you don't need any addition

Add extra fish (such as a pack of fish pie mixed fish) and some stock if needed , to make a fish soup.

Add chopped tomatoes, some olives and a splash of Pernod for a different flavour.

Use for a risotto.

With nice bread or chips or over pasta.

That said, the nicest mussels I've ever had, we got them just mussels (not the ones in the sauce) and cooked them in coconut milk with lemongrass, garlic and ginger, bit of soy sauce/fish sauce, topped with fresh coriander, and they were amazing. So you could see if you could doctor up a thai version from the sauce you have. We had these with baguette.
