Anyone got one that's great?! I'm following low carb and would love to make low carb ice cream. It's such a faff without a machine! Wondered about the ice cream roll sets?
Hit me with your recommendations please Mumsnet! 😊

I had one. Used it once. It lived in the cupboard for 10yrs and then I gave it away.

I've had a few, the best was a philips one but it's off the market mores the pity as that was the best one! I had two at the time as they make a very small quantity so handier to have two. Both broke at same time and I bought the ice cream bowl for a kitchenaid, that made a much larger quantity and was great in theory but the bowl split and oozed out it's refrigerant stuff after less than a dozen uses. I don't make ice cream very often but I do use it. The one I have now is not great so won't recommend it. It is a bit of a faff having to freeze the bowl first but if you have space it's handier to keep it in the freezer. Aldi/Lidl often have them and as good as any of the basic models.

Will keep a look out at Aldi & Lidl, thanks!

I came across your message when looking for a Philips ice cream maker. I had one and it was great - and now there are several on eBay. You've probably bought one by now, but in case you haven't.
