I'm trying out cutting Cow's milk from my diet.
I am ok with goats milk, and wondering what goats butter and yoghurt would be like. Anyone tried them?

Yes, they're both fine. The butter if I recall doesn't have much of a goat taste really. My DH used to eat goat's milk, butter, and yogurt in preference, but he's kinda gravitated back towards cows now so we don't buy it any more but both the butter and the yogurt are perfectly nice OP.

I don't like Goat Cheese, and accidentally ate some Butter at the MILs. I could get a hint of Goat, it wasn't overpowering or anything, but as I don't like it I could definitely taste it.

Definitely smells a bit goaty, but tastes fine.

Thanks all.

I bought a load of Oat Milk, which I didn't like at all.
Good to know it's not too 'goaty' then. I'll try it I think.

I get goats butter sometimes. The goat flavour is subtle enough that one of my children can tell it's different but the other can't.

I like goats cheese. I find goat butter horrible- we had to throw it out in the end. But we all very fussy about butter. I don’t really like the milk either so if you like that it will be ok,

Anything goat related is a no for me.

I’ve tried goats butter for the first time, trying to avoid dairy because of eczema. DH doesn’t seem to notice much difference between this and generic butter. To me, it tastes very goaty.
