I’ve had many a compliment for Sainsbury’s recipe for rhubarb and frangipane tart. It needs to be served warm ideally, but the recipe says it can be made a day ahead and reheated gently. www.sainsburysmagazine.co.uk/recipes/desserts/rhubarb-frangipane-tart I used ready-made shortcrust pastry.

I’ve also made this really easy lemon tart before realfood.tesco.com/recipes/mias-unmissable-citrus-tart.html and decorated it with raspberries.

Key lime pie is an easy, citrusy make ahead dessert. I’ve used both Delia and smitten kitchen recipe before with success.
