Back from a couple of days away where my kids loved chickpea and vegetable curry pasty and cauliflower cheese pasty. Which led me to wonder what else I could wrap in pastry to entice them to try?

Following as I got a beautiful new pie dish for Christmas that still hasn’t been used.

Quiche might be another to try with spinach, bacon, broccoli- or blitz the veg to make it a green egg pie.

Are you vegetarian?
If so I reckon the Jamie Oliver squash sage and chestnut sausage roll filling could be a good pasty filling.
i love a spicy beef pasty myself, a Jamaican Pattie really, they’re my favourite.
we are having beef and ale pie tonight, dh has made some puff pastry and we are all quite excited to see how it will turn out!
I just love pie tbh.

Lovely ideas thank you all.

Not veggie but we don’t eat a lot of meat really.
