Forgot to take the salmon fillets out of the freezer last night. Google is telling me it's safe?

You can cook anything from frozen as long as you get it hot enough, wether it's palatable or not afterwards is another matter.....

I do. I often forget or change my mind about dinner....

Imo it'll be overcooked and stodgy. I'd defrost it in room temp water then poach

Yes it's fine. You normally cook for recommended time + half for a frozen thing. Frozen normally comes out best roasting or baking in the oven (rather than grilling, poaching etc). For example, if suggested cooking is: baking in the oven for 20 minutes on 180, you bake for 30 minutes on 180.

Yes put it into the pre heated oven, season with whatever and
wrapp d in foil 180°C about 30-35 minutes. Just double check before serving!
It can take a bit longer depending on size, just don't overcook it!!

If they're vacuum-packed, just put them in a sink full of cold water for half an hour. Job done.

It's fine, I do this with Salmon filllets all the time. Just put them under the grill (yes, i said grill!) they come out lovely and well done.
