Honey chilli sauce

So I've taken. Notation to make beef strips with a honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger and hoisin concoction. I've fried the beef in flour and I've bunged it all in a slow cooker. I'm rubbish at just getting the taste right so I'm worried it'll be gross by the time tomorrow comes lol

Is there anything I could add?

It sounds like a tasty combo but very strong! Is it very thick? I'd add a little water, and taste it before eating so you can check the honey balances the other things. And have with loads of rice/noodles/veg to balance out the salt. Sounds good though!

Slow cooker will ruin it (sorry). That's a wok recipe - flash fry the beef strips, add sauce, serve.

Ketchup or sriracha and possibly some form of vinegar.

I recommend this recipe if you fancy something similar in the future. I cook the broccoli separately and just stir it in.

It's quite watery atm, was gonna add cornflour tomorrow after slow cooking further.

Just add a cornflour slake to thicken it up , sounds lovely but I’d probably add something sour like a vinegar to cut the sweetness

Great idea!!! If it's too sweet tomorrow that's what I go!

Will it be completely terrible in a slow cooker? Could I turf it into a wok tomorrow to finish it?

With beef you can go low and slow or quick and fast... its anything in between that won't be good! I probably would have done stir fry too but I think it will be tender stewed too. Try it! But no nothing to be gained by using the wok now- that would have been for the raw meat.
