No meat today, am I the only one?

it seems like it! today dh and i were discussing what we would have for dinner and i said "fish, its good friday" he looked at me like i was a lunatic. I may have lapsed years ago, but I would still like to cling to some traditions!

the shame!
i remember a boyf escorting me to a family wedding and staying over (on the sofa as we got bck late) and mum set up camp on the landing. he wasnt even allowed to use the bathroom (thank god for downstairs loo's)

WE also do a meatfreeday today. Although dh and I couldnt quite work out why as traditionally you are not supposed to eat on good friday.

Fridays were always no meat days in my nans house to..my mum didnt care one way or the other..lol

lol, we were always meat free on fridays, or at least no red meat.
