How do you stop yourself eating at night??

Trying to do intermittent fasting. But really just want to stop eating in the evening in general because I just gravitate to snacks and shite plus it often gives me a belly ache (have gastro issues)

I was supposed to not eat anything after 7pm but I've just had a babybel and now to to raid everything 😭

Lemon and ginger twinings tea. No calories and no caffeine plus the zing from the ginger is really satisfying and stops me from snacking. Aids in digestion as well.

@Nabooh @tellmewhenthespaceshiplandscoz is on the money. The key is behaviour, says she still battling the stones down. I started doing a big nighttime routine, which trust me isn't natural. But it seems to have worked so far , four weeks in so still early days.

I do the teeth, brush floss, mouthwash. Face, cleanse, serum, etc shower, moisturizer etc then read in bed or watch something on a tablet. So I am not in the open-plan kitchen, living room.

I also am an emotional eater, bored =eat, happy=eat, very frustrating. Wishing you success, remember every ounce you keep off is a win also.

Hard boiled eggs
Cottage cheese
Sliced ham

Really easy to resist if your options are not that tempting/calorific
