Recipes for cast iron pot

I'm so exited I've just bought my first cast iron pot

Can anyone recommend any good low card recipes please, cost effective and ones that'll freeze well?

Also, do I need to season the Sainsbury's pot?

Is it enamelled inside or just plain iron? Plain iron needs seasoning and won’t be non stick - although most cast iron comes pre seasoned these days. whereas enamelled doesn’t need seasoning and is (sort of) non stick but you need to be careful not to scratch it (no metal tools).

I have an ancient enamelled pot and cook anything “wet” in it - chilli, casseroles, bolognese, curry, soups. It’s particularly good for recipes where you brown the meat/ fry the veg first and then add liquids. Also for recipes where you brown on stove and then transfer to oven for slow cooking.
