How would you serve pork and caramelised onion stuffing balls?

Just found them in the freezer left over from Christmas, I forgot to cook them.

I did think of doing them in a tomato sauce like meatballs with pasta, but they're a bit sausage-ish flavour for that I think.

Any ideas?

Break them up into mince and then make a sausage ragu with them.

Yes, or crumble them up with cooked broccoli, garlic, chilli, lemon, pasta and either oil or crème fraiche.

Mashed potato and gravy

Personally I would cook them and eat then for dinner in front of the tv, with some sort of delicious apple sauce dip. But I’m a bit of a pig.

Hmm, I'd either do them in a tomato sauce with pasta (I don't think them tasting sausage like would matter), serve them as stuffing with a roast, or you could buy/make pastry and make sausage rolls?

With mash and onion gravy and a mountain of savoy cabbage.

I make meatballs out of sausagemeat from the butchers and it’s extremely popular so I think they’d be just fine.

I had some the other day with baked camembert. No one else was home so I indulged

Mash them up and spread it over a baguette with cranberry sauce and sliced meat - would be nice for a weekend lunch.

This is my kind of meal.

I'd wait until you're next doing a porky or poultry roast & serve alongside.

New2024 · 12/01/2024 18:44

just have them next time you do a roast dinner. Even if it’s Easter they will still be fine

NooNakedJacuzziness · 12/01/2024 18:50

By the truckload 🤤

Thanks all, I've cooked it with tomato sauce and pasta in the end. You were right, no problem that it's sausage flavoured.
