I've just been given some starter by my BiL, but I'm getting so lost.
I want to bake twice a week, do I leave the starter on the side and feed it every day? Do I need to discard any starter when I feed it?
After using some for baking a loaf do I feed it again straight away? Or do I keep it in the fridge in between 'baking days'?
I've been using a bread maker to make standard bread for a while, but I'd like to try making sourdough. I just need to find a routine that I can keep in my head and follow.
Any tips please?
