I have some That are a bit passed their best. Can you suggest a good use for them?

Cut them in half, douse in olive oil, a sprinkle of chilli, some thyme or oregano, and lots of garlic (in quite large pieces eg cut a clove in half) and roast for about 25 mins. Even better if you add red peppers. Cook up some pasta and add to the roasting tin to mix through and soak up all the oil.

We often make this if we have a load of squishy tomatoes. Dont use the amount he says, and often add slices of courgettes, or peppers, some onion wedges. Have done it with chicken thighs and drumsticks before instead of sausages and was still good. It needs a really good glug of balsamic, not a little drizzle. We often add crumbled feta 10 minutes before the end just to melt into it a bit.

Sauteed with onions and garlic, any spices you like, and add to toast with scrambled eggs.
