Nasty grapes - any ideas

Bought a punnet of black grapes to go with our NYE cheeseboard but they are not nice at all with a really "woolly" texture and taste.

They were expensive so I'm loath to throw them out. Wondering if anyone has any ideas for making the most of them. There are quite a few suggestions online for using up grapes which have shrivelled or gone past their best but I'm not sure that these are applicable here. The grapes look plump and shiny but have no juice and taste like they are stuffed with cotton wool.

Any thoughts or are these a lost cause? One of the ideas I've seen is for roasting them with a pinch of salt and then adding to salads. This appeals but seems a bit out there and I wonder if anyone had tried this, before I turn on the oven unneccessarily and waste even more money.

Freezing grapes can sweeten them.

Sprinkle a sachet of orange jelly powder (the kind you add boiling water to to make wobbly jelly) on the grapes and freeze them, they taste like sucky sweets/boiled sweets.

Interesting - I love frozen muscatel grapes but I hadn't thought of that as a method for rescuing these. Definitely worth a try. I might go for a jelly powder hunt at lunchtime too - I've only ever seen/used jelly cubes; have I lived a sheltered life?

Thank you both! I couldn't get my hands on jelly powder but froze the grapes anyway and they are delicious - sweet and slushy and a perfect kitchen snack.
