Happy New Year all…

What are your go to recipes using the slow cooker?

This is a regular for us, I add the broccoli at the end. I just quickly blast it in the microwave. Have a look at other recipes on her website as I've tried lots and really enjoyed them but don't want to just post endless links 😅. I also highly recommend the Bored of Lunch recipes, he has some books out now but there is plenty of his recipes on his instagram/Tiktok

Beef & broccoli

Beef chilli but using brisket not mince. I can do it from raw but I often slow cook the brisket in the oven to get a meal and then use the remaining meat to make the chilli. I don’t follow a recipe exactly - brisket plus diced onion and veg (peppers/mushrooms/sweetcorn/courgette - whatever I have in really), tinned tomatoes, spice to taste, and a tin of whatever beans are available towards the end. It’s ready when the meat shreds/pulls easily.

That's what i came on to say too. Bored of Lunch is great.

Chilli, bolognaise, beef stew, sausage casserole, I need to use it more often really. Camp fire stew from the pinch of nom book is amazing
