New Years Eve Pudding Ideas

I’m going to a friends tomorrow and taking some salads but have offered a pudding, I’m wondering what I can make that is easy to transport. I am not a huge pudding maker apart from trifle and sort of traditional treacle sponge type things. I was out all day today so it’s too late for a trifle plus the thought of driving with trifle makes me nervous. Any ideas?

Key lime pie
Non bake cheese cake

Loaf cakes are easy to transport

Baileys trifle:
Sponge (bought)
Soak in baileys
Sliced banana
Custard(bought)
Whipped cream

Voila!

You'll be fine driving with trifle :d

Do you know what other food is being served? Just to ensure the dessert complements it.

Some ideas meanwhile:

There's still time for a trifle! Put the trifle bowl in a box and strap the box in with a seat belt.

Sticky toffee pudding is always a hit and very easy to make and it's not as heavy as people think.

Lemon tart is really refreshing

Cheesecake - this is an easy one. I wouldn't use her suggestion for topping it, just take some sort of fruit in sauce in a separate tub and pour over before serving.

you need a glass for each person… layer up cherries, shortbread biscuits, dark chocolate, vanilla ice cream.. then at the last minute pour over a little strong dark coffee. Easy to make and heavenly to eat!

Thanks for all the ideas, I’m going with no bake cheesecake. Potato and Greek salad already made, all I had to pop out for was soft cheese.
