Alternatives to cranberries for sharp relish?

Hello! I make a cranberry sauce every Christmas based on a Delia recipe. I use 1/3 of the suggested sugar and substitute grapefruit juice for orange, so it comes out very sharp and delicious.

I generally make a second batch for New Year but this year the cranberries seem to have gone 😢 Can anyone suggest a substitute, or maybe a different relish that would be equally tangy and sharp?

You could buy a frozen fruit mix like this and pick out the redurrants, there are usually too many of them for my liking and then you'd have the rest of the fruit for smoothies etc

Thanks! I may try that 👍

Would dried cranberries work if you soaked them in the juice?

That's an idea, thanks. May try that too 👍
