Battered fish with home made chips and peas. Would take all the batter off the fish and eat it last.

Followed by

Angel delight layed with whipped cream on a chocolate rice crispy base - my mum got the recipe out of womans own or similar magazine. It was yummy.

we still have butterscotch angel delight on the odd occasion

its lethal, i can't leave the fridge area, keep going in with the spoon!

I'm a veggie now but my mum's (bless her) least messed up meal, was gammon ham with pineapple slice on top and yes, chips/new potatoes.

carrot cake with philly icing
pork scnitzel (sp)
vegetable biriyani
tinned buitoni ravioli
rice pudding
cremola
bread and butter pudding
cornflake and jam tart
corned beef and potato pie
cold sausage and pickle sandwiches
supper - digestive with cheddar and golden syrup
the vegetarian phase was lovely - spinach and cream cheese pancakes or spicy lentil stew

My mum's cooking is the best and then my nana's - I love food

Scottishmummy I once fed that to my dog because I had run out of dog food and I could see no difference. Let me make it quite clear that I did NOT purchase this foodstuff. It was in my parents caravan when we took it away on holiday.

I meant the tin of hamburgers. However my ex DP was Scottish and whenever his parents came to visit they brought that square sausage with them plus some special scottish bread - cant remember what it was now but you couldnt get it here in England. I love that sausage - makes great sandwiches.
