Dinner party ideas please

Doing NYE dinner for 10 people. Older teens and adults.
My usual goto dish is Chicken and Chorizo. Or slow roasted lamb.
I have a choc fountain for pudding (requested by DD!!)
Not chili please.

Do you have a favourite dinner party recipe? All suggestions welcome!

A roast is always a safe but loved option. Are you doing starters

Bœuf Bourguignon or Coq au vin, serve with potatoes Boulangere and some green vegetables. For that number of people, classic dishes are the safest option.

Roast with a twist, salsa or whatever
I wouldn't want to share a fountain. I'd offer something else too.
