Can I have some ideas for healthy meals and snacks please that will leave the kids feeling fuller for longer?
1 DC is dairy intolerant and the other has just become Vegetarian.
Neither is a massive problem as there are so many substitutes.
Both DC like most foods but I feel we've slid into some bad habits in recent months and would like to try and redress them but feel stuck in a rut.
We tend to cook most meals from fresh but across the day and week I feel they could be healthier.
Both DC also love cooking and food in general but both will choose carbs and sugar over anything else and I'm not sure the school canteen has been great for the older DC which we're trying to address.
Cooking doesn't come naturally too me and I'm not that creative with it so all help is gratefully recieved!
