Chip shop curry sauce

My kids are obsessed with chip shop curry sauce. So obsessed that I can use it to convince them to try food they normally reject without tasting.

Has anyone found a good supermarket type version? I did ask the brand in our local chippy but it’s a commercial product that doesn’t seem to do home sized volumes and I don’t fancy ordering enough for the whole village.

Mayflower curry sauce is what you need! It's a powder mix that you add water to. You can buy it from shops but Amazon also stock it.

Goldfish Chinese curry sauce is the best one I've found. It's in the international aisle in Sainsburys and I think Tesco / Amazon do it too

Iceland sell Bisto powdered curry sauce. It's smooth and a bit weird, but not awful. Note - I'm not employed by Bisto or Iceland

I've not tried it but bisto do it, it's with the gravy granules, I assume you just add hot water

I use Yeungs. I always have a few packets in the cupboard. It's the most similar to chip shops in Scotland. I never buy it from chip shops where I live now as its fruity with bits in it and I don't like it at all, so I make my own. Bonus is I can make loads and drown my chips in it 😋

ICELAND. Harry Ramsden's chip shop curry sauce. It tastes exactly the same as the chippy. Me and DH have it with Morrisons chips, and Aldi fish. Pretty much almost as decent as the chip shop fish chips and curry sauce, and about one fifth of the price!
