Cheese Biscuits - Nigella

I often make the parmesan shortbreads - they are lovely and v popular. Sometimes I use cheddar instead of parmesan.

Delia Smith's Pistachio Sables (from her Christmas book) are so nice that I often give them as presents, if you're looking for a nutty/parmesan bite.

On my list of things to do this evening, as we have a 'contact the elderly' charity tea on Sunday. We have salmon sandwiches, scotch egg and pizza bits for savoury but seems a bit limited so doing parmesan shortbreads. The guests come more for tea and chat and to get out rather than food.

Ditto. And I freeze logs of the dough so I have some in reserve.

I do the Paul Hollywood Gruyère ones at Christmas time? Delicious with a glass of champagne etc

I did and they were very good - you can mix and match the cheeses and add different herbs (this is for the Parmesan shortbread) x
