It's cold and wet outside, and I'm not feeling evry well. So it's time for Comfort Food - and for me, that means home-made rice pudding, cooked low and slow in the oven with plenty of nutmeg until it's set firm. (I have been known to serve slices of it cold as a "mystery cake"!) Rice, sugar, milk, butter, freshly grated nutmeg, maybe a bit of cream -- nothing else.
