Can I save this fudge?

I followed this recipe to make fudge in the slow cooker. https://whattheredheadsaid.com/slow-cooker-peanut-butter-fudge/

It has been in the fridge since mid afternoon yesterday and is set but is more like a soft caramel that goes a bit gummy in your mouth than a fudge.

I half thought that I could melt it down again and add some sugar to try to make it set but it is already sweet and I wouldn't know how much to add.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks to save it. It tastes lovely so it would be a real shame to bin it.

That texture is probably because of the fat in the peanut butter. Maybe it is supposed to be like that?

you could add to ice cream? Will firm up a bit in the freezer.

If it tastes lovely can’t yoh just eat it?

Also the recipe says

This recipe took a few attempts to crack but I got there in the end. It’s worth pointing out that if you want a crumbly fudge rather than the softer slow cooker fudge we always create, put more peanut butter in and the same amount of extra chocolate. That turned out amazingly for any crumbly fudge fan but it was really hard to stir – and impossible to slice nicely!

so suspect yoh had to do that.
