Nooo I would not have thought so and once you have made them I am not sure there will be any left for the freezer. They do keep quite well.

The recipe is on this thread from yesterday.

If you follow the first link, though, bear in mind that the oven temperature is in fahrenheit!

Oh, can you give me the recipe please? "yummiest things in the world" sound very good...are they healthy?

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 13/03/2008 17:04

1 x 397 can condensed milk
250g rolled oats (not instant)
75g shredded coconut
100g dried cranberries
125g mixed seeds (pumpkin,sunflower,sesame)
125g natural unsalted peanuts

preheat oven to 130C and oil a 23 x 33 x 4cm baking tin

Warm condensed milk in large pan.

Meanwhile, mix together all the other ingredients and then add the warmed milk, using a rubber or wooden spatula to fold and distribute.

Spread the mixture into the tin and press down with the spatula.... to even the surface

Bake for 1 hour, then remove from oven and after about 15 minutes, cut into four across and four down to make 16 chunky bars. Let cool completely.

HUgely healthy I'm sure

aznerak · 13/03/2008 17:06

Cant imagine they are that healthy with all that condensed milk!

But the rest of the ingredients are good.

How long do they keep for as it'll only be my hubby eating them??

Oooh, they sound extremely yummy...not super healthy, but could be worse. And they look very easy.

Thanks!
