A friend is hosting a drinks event for a group of close friends. Not a meal/buffet.
I said I'd take a tray of canapés.
As we have several friends who are vegetarian, I would like to make them all vegetarian (especially as someone is taking a meat platter).
Most of my favourite crudités involve cheese (cream, feta, manchego etc) but someone is taking a cheese board, and the host almost always makes smoked salmon and cream cheese rolls, so I want to avoid cheese as much as possible.
I want them to be bite sized, not eg dips and crudités, although could do humus on cucumber slices. Any suggestions please?
