Veggie / Vegan Christmas Turkey Alternative

What's everyone doing this year for their "main" bit of Christmas dinner?

DH and I are going to try the Asda vegan turkey - only £6 and we'll have plenty of sides if it's horrible (sides are the best bit!)

We like the wreath from Lidl, not-sausage with cranberry, with puff pastry, shaped into a wreath. Looks pretty and since we go to in-laws on boxing day I have to minimise leftovers (which is disappointing, as love leftovers!), it's not too big.

I had the Lidl wreath last year and enjoyed that. I've bought the Sainsburys Taste The Difference fake turkey roll thing this year. Heard good things so 🤞
I have made the Bosh mushroom wellington in the past which was really tasty but I can't be bothered this year!

We usually have a good old-fashioned nut roast. The veggies who come for Christmas dinner prefer that to the fake meat offerings.

Last year we had a salmon wellington, with veggie etc. This year we are having the Asda vegan Wellington- it's absolutely delicious.

It's easy this year because I got a text a few weeks ago requesting the same as last year! So, stuffed red onions it is. Which is good because anything fake meat, pastry or nut are off the cards so that rules out a lot of options!
