Help me make the best Christmas Pudding...

Hi everyone
Ahead of stir up Sunday, I would love to know your favourite tried and tested Christmas pudding recipes - and why you would recommend them. Also, do you have any top tips for what makes it the very best? I have made Christmas pudding in the past and am happy to use the same recipe again, but thought it was worth seeing if anyone else has any advice/other recipes to suggest...

I always use Nigella’s ‘ultimate’ Christmas pudding because it’s not at all stodgy or rich, it just melts in your mouth. The flavours are spot on for me.

I made Nigel Slater's Plum Pudding for the first time last year, I've usually made Mary Berry's last minute pudding, it was delicious and got rapturous praise from the whole family. I skipped the glace cherries because I can't stand them but otherwise followed the recipe. Rich yet light and just awesome really!
