I think I might be the only person alive who has never made Rice Krispie Cakes. What is your go to recipe?

Seriously, I’ve never made them. I thought there would be one stock recipe, but there isn’t.
What is your go to?

I also prefer cornflakes! We melt the (dark) chocolate with butter and golden syrup and add raisins and marshmallows (and possibly also chopped up glacé cherries if we’re feeling fancy). Think there is a recipe with quantities on BBC Good Food.

Nigella (I think?) introduced me years ago to the delights of cornflake cakes made with melted Mars bars. Absolute winner and my all time favourite way to eat cornflakes!
they are really deeply chocolatey and rich, I’ve got some cornflakes in actually, might suggest to one of the dc going to pick up some Mars bars from the shop and quickly whipping some of these up for pudding tonight!

TBh the simplest & easiest recipe will be just melted chocolate & Rice Krispies as you don't need to worry much about quantities - you melt your chocolate & then add as many Rice Krispies as you want to get the desired consistency/coverage. They they set in the fridge - you only need a microwave & bowls & cupcake cases.

You just melt chocolate and stir in rice krispies, then put it in the fridge.
