Batch cook 1.8kg Stewing Steak

I have 1.8kg of stewing beef (Costco) in the freezer. Rookie mistake instead of portioning the meat I froze the whole tray.
So I'm going to defrost it and have a batch cooking session on Thursday. I've got an online shop coming tomorrow so can add any ingredients I need.
Looking for idea's of what I should make and how far it will stretch? We prefer stews, pies and casserole type meals - winter hearty meals. Lots of freezer space. Don't mind individual portions as well as meals for 3 adults.

I would make Beef stew with half & steak pie filling with the other half, then freeze the cooked meat dishes in portions that suit you & your family. I'm salivating at the thought of all that tasty nutritious goodness!

Jamie Oliver - Jool's favourite beef stew

Apparently this is his wife's favourite stew, hence the name.
It is absolutely delicious and very low effort, yet it tastes divine. You don't brown the meat first, just coat it in seasoned flour, so that's a win in my book. You add all the lovely healthy vegetables and red wine and just bung it in the oven on a low temperature for several hours and forget about it. It does say that the Jerusalem artichokes are optional and although I personally adore them, if you are eating this stew in company you might want to avoid them completely - I call them fartychokes and only eat them when I am on my own. Here is the recipe, I really recommend it.

Also any beef stew or casserole is massively enhanced by dumplings.

Tom Kerridge's Beef & Guinness stew with bacon dumplings - on the BBC Good Food website is yummy. It's a bit more time consuming than the previous recipe I posted, but it's delicious.
