I'm cooking a lamb stew in my slow cooker. I usually cook for 7-8hrs on low heat. After about 3 hours I heard my slow cooker beep, checked it, all looked ok. I've just gone back to add the dumplings for the last 60 mins and noticed the slow cooker has been on the "keep warm" function for 3 hours!!! I've just put it back on "high" and will cook for another 2 hours.
Will it be ok to eat??
