Oven safe dish in air fryer?

Hello! I was thinking of getting a ninja foodie with two drawers and divider than can be removed to make one big space.

I know your not supposed to cook liquid dishes i.e stews/ casseroles, but is it possible to fit in a ovenproof lidded pot where you could pop a chilli or sausage casserole in? Would it even fit in? If not, will probably still get one but carry on using the hob for sauce stuff. Thank you!

I do sausage casserole in the slow cooker, is that an option for you?

I have used one in mine and it was fine, until it wasn't 😂. Used it loads of times and then the casserole dish shattered so I wouldn't do it again.

Oven dishes are fine in the air fryer, although I'm still not certain if there's a difference between the air fry and roast/bake function so I'd probably only use one on the roast/bake function.

Also, I don't understand why you can't just put your food directly into the airfryer? I regularly remove the bit that goes in and use the main part of the air fryer as an oven dish. Admittedly, I don't usually do liquid things but for example, if I'm roasting veg I do that, or a baked feta.

I put oven safe dishes in my air fryer all the time. I bought some smaller sized ones to make sure they fit. They've been fine Smile
