Slow cooker dish under the grill?

Just wondering if anyone has put their slow cooker ceramic dish under the grill to brown something?
I’m doing the Taming Twins recipe and it says to brown under the grill if your pot allows it and I have no idea?

Have you still got the manual ? If not, check the manufacturer's website.
Or see if the model's on Amazon, & check the description.
It tends to be the more expensive models that can be used with grill & oven.

Thanks @Georgyporky I couldn’t find out the info in the manual or online so I risked it and it was fine,it only needed a couple of minutes.
