Oreo cake

Does anyone have a good recipe for an Oreo birthday cake? All the ones I can find are 3 layers and I’m not really a baker so would prefer a simpler two layer cake.

If you want to make a two layer cake, you can just use 2/3 of the ingredients.

Which recipe do you want to use?

Ingredients

150g self-raising flour

30g cocoa powder

½ tsp bicarbonate of soda

150g dark chocolate, broken into pieces

150g light muscovado sugar

150g unsalted butter, softened

3 med eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

10 Oreos, to decorate

OREO BUTTERCREAM

8 Oreos

150g unsalted butter, softened

300g icing sugar

1 tbsp milk

That's so weird - I've literally just made one for DD's birthday tomorrow! It's a chocolate sponge then I've bashed up oreos to make the chocolate soil, and also added some to butter cream
