How much liquid for 100g of orzo (oven)

I am making a chicken traybake with three chicken breasts, chorizo and veg. I have the end of a packet of orzo that I want to chunk in.

how liquid should I add to the pan? I don’t want it to be soupy and tomatoey.

or would it be best to just boil and add at the end?

How about cooking it in chicken stock on the hob? Fairly small amount, so you can top up with water if it starts to dry out. Then add at the end .
