Tuscan Chicken / Marry Me Chicken

Hi All
I am thinking about making either Tuscan Chicken or Marry Me Chicken - tbh they seem very similar. Does anyone have any tips/recipe recommendations? Also, what would you serve it with? Rice or mash with veg or pasta?
Thank you!

https://littlesunnykitchen.com/marry-me-chicken/ This is the recipe I used when I made this earlier this year. It was lovely. Very rich! I'd go for fairly plain accompaniments - steamed broccoli or green beans, maybe. Plain rice would be great, or steamed/boiled baby potatoes, or mashed potatoes to mop up the sauce.

Marry Me Chicken

Marry Me Chicken is creamy, juicy, and full of flavor! It's said that this chicken dinner is so good that if you cook it for your partner, he will propose to you!

I made it a while back and served with mash and green beans. Tbh, I felt so gross after eating it, it was so heavy. I wished I had made a lemon chicken instead.

I made the Mary Berry one recently and found it bland. It has sun blushed tomatoes which weren’t strong enough. Previously had made a version with sun dried tomato pesto which was much better.

Served with rice and buttered greens

I’d suggest using creme fraiche rather than double cream or it’s so cloying and rich it can make you feel quite unwell.

I must have an even tougher digestive system than I thought! I can honestly say that eating a chicken dish made with butter or oil, a bit of Parmesan and some cream has never made me feel unwell.

I've been considering making this too but it sounds like everybody who has eaten this wouldn't accept a proposal because it's so rich.

I didn’t find it too rich but I absolutely love butter and cream (could happily eat either on its own tbh). As I say, I found the version with sun blush tomatoes bland so would suggest sun dried and plenty of them, or sun dried tomato pesto.

I do the Mary Berry recipe (just made it tonight in fact) but I use half fat creme fraiche instead of cream, no cheese and also a lot more paprika than she says. Oh and sundried tomatoes. Served it with broccoli, white cabbage and rice.

I've made the Mary Berry one. It was bland so added sundried tomato pesto, smoked paprika and chipotle chilli.
