Bright red vegetable pattie type thing in it and i would like to know what it was.It wasn't listed on the set meal so i dont know what it was.

Likely to be an onion Bahjee.

Could have possibly been a veg pakora, although these are normally more irregular shaped.

It could have been some sort of festive snack as now is 'Holi', the Hindu festival of Colours for Spring - not sure if and what any festivge snacks might be, but sonce it was bright red, you never know.
