A Year in the Kitchen by Blanche Vaughan
I heard Blanche Vaughan on the Sarah Raven podcast and thought she sounded interesting. Anyway I bought her most recent book and it's fab! I love it! No fails so far, and I've made a lot. DS is a chicken fiend and I've cooked two of her chicken recipes 'flattened chicken with lemon, garlic and herbs' and chicken with pomegranate molasses, and he said they were the best chicken ever.
Lots of lovely vegetarian too. Glazed miso aubergine the best miso aubergine recipe I've tried.
The recipes are not difficult but she's got a great palette and everything's delicious. Definitely the best cookbook I've bought in ages, and I have a bit of a cookbook addiction, so end up buying quite a few.
