Onions again

Can you pickle onions without drying overnight in salt? Just put them in the jar with the stuff?

Yes.

All the salt does is draw out moisture from the onions. This supposedly makes them crunchier, but I've never done an experiment to test.

Oh that's good, I've done one lot but need to do a second and I really wanted to minimise the smell and fuss 😂
